According to our curling iron expert
Because the curling iron locks the buttons, you can't accidentally change the temperature while you use it.
With a minimum temperature of 130°C, this curling iron is also suitable for curling thin and damaged hair.
You can see exactly how hot the curling iron is on the display.
The curling wand has a ceramic coating, but a fully ceramic curling wand is a better alternative if you want extra protection for your hair.
With a 32mm diameter, this curling iron is mainly suitable for hair that's longer than shoulder-length.
This Remington Ci9532 Pearl Pro Curl lets you create large, loose curls with a beautiful shine. This curling iron has 32mm wide plates, equipped with a ceramic coating. In order to provide extra protection for your hair, you can adjust the temperature to your hair type. For fine hair, you can choose the lowest temperature of 130°C; for coarse and thick hair, you can set the hottest setting of 210°C. This curling iron heats up quickly and to prevent the temperature from accidentally being adjusted, you can lock the temperature settings. If you're briefly not using the curling iron, it'll switch off automatically, which is nice and safe.

I have very long (below the bra band), straight, fine and colored Chinese hair. Curls often don't stay that long for me or they almost fall out completely. My goal with the remington was to make a light stroke at the ends of my hair. I went for a beachy/romantic look, so to speak. I used this in the travel curl set from Carmen that I only applied to the ends of my hair, but I had the idea that I had too little control over the curl, it also made my hair a bit frizzy. With this curling iron I hoped to have a little more control over the direction and firmness of the curl.
With this curling iron I managed to get (on a first try!) a nice curl in the ends of my hair that lasted until the next day! It is true that prior to use I have used a product (a curl facilitating hairspray from Japan) that probably contributed to this + a lot of hairspray after curling. My second attempt went a little less well, the coarse curl was almost gone after 4 hours (and immediately looked less good than the first time), but there was still a slight stroke in the points. I think this time I grabbed too big strands of hair (didn't have that much time left), which made the curl too limp. So a tip is not to take too large sections of hair to curl, maybe 5-6 strands per side (I had 4 per side this time), depending on how much hair you have (I have fine hair, but medium amount of hair ).
The pliers warmed up quickly (within a minute) and I did not find it difficult to use. I did use the gloves that come with it, but even without it I did well, no burns :). You have different heat settings, but I would take the time to figure out which setting works best for you. Start at one of the lowest settings, if the curl doesn't stay in it properly, just do a higher setting next time; you really don't want to damage your hair unnecessarily, because if it's good you will really get addicted to these tongs :). I don't have much experience with curling irons myself, but I'm very satisfied with them! Would really use products if you have fine hair like me, that not only extends the life of your curl but also ensures that the curl is more beautiful :).

After a few years my previous Remington broke. Originally I wanted to buy the same one, but of course they no longer sold it. I don't just buy a new one but went to investigate. I looked at dozens of reviews and also watched a lot of tutorials. That's how I came up with this curling iron, I hesitated between this one and the cone-shaped one. I myself have thick long hair. I was looking for a curling iron that gave my hair a nice stroke, but in a natural way. Well, this curling iron certainly did! They are not really curls but rather waves that look natural. Only I have to spray them well with hairspray and they don't last very long. The new shape takes a bit of practice but you quickly get used to it. All in all I am definitely satisfied and I get a lot of compliments on it! They are identically the same curls as the kardashians! I am certainly happy with my choice.

The curling iron makes either very nice pipe curls or a stroke. Just loosen it up a bit for a stroke and twist it around tightly for tight curls. It comes with a glove, but it makes your hair very frizzy and it will be fine without it. A curling iron without a lid is much nicer because you don't get a weird kink in your hair. I was in doubt whether I should take this or a spiral, but I personally find this result many times more beautiful and would recommend it to everyone.
