According to our vacuum machines expert
Suitable for vacuum bags, rolls, and containers.
The vacuum sealer has a marinating function.
The vacuum sealer has an integrated roll holder, vacuum sealing hose, and foil cutting system.
The vacuum sealer takes up some space on your countertop, due to its wide size.
The practical Foodsaver Superior FSV3840 Vacuum Sealer is fully automatic. Place the piece of meat, fish, or other food you want to store up to 5 times longer in the bag, then place the open end of the bag in the device, and with a push of the vacuum and seal button, the FoodSaver will do the rest. This Food Saver Superior Line is a very complete vacuum system, suitable for vacuum bags, rolls, and containers. Other than that, the device has an integrated roll holder, a foil cutting system, and a vacuum hose. The different functions allow you to vacuum dry, moist, and delicate foods. A useful feature is the marinating function, which lets you marinate a piece of meat or fish within several minutes.
Prepare your vacuum meal in a special sous-vide pan at a temperature of up to 100 degrees. If you're using a regular pan, make sure to use a kitchen thermometer to check that the water doesn't get hotter than 75 degrees Celsius. Otherwise, the plastic bag could melt and stick to the hot sides of your cooking pot.
you keep a nice big workspace in front of the machine, and it does what it promises
