less is more!
discreet, portable, aesthetic and safe
universal: for almost every mobile phone/smartphone
easy to apply
This Kenu Airframe proves once again the 'less is more' principle. I did a lot of research on car holders and none of them could meet my high standards.
For example, I'm not a fan of the suction cup principle because it always leaves ugly spots on my windshield. Moreover, it gives me an uneasy feeling that thieves think that a GPS is in my glove box. We should not unnecessarily mislead thieves...
I don't think a car holder that sticks to my dashboard is a solution either, because then you can't just take it off without leaving dirty spots.
Then you have solutions that work with a kind of magnet that you stick on the back of your smartphone. That's not a solution either, because I don't like to see all kinds of external things sticking on my phone.
Brodit Proclip is the market leader in car holders, but these are incredibly expensive, consist of 2 parts that differ specifically per car and smartphone and are very expensive. If your partner also regularly drives the car, you can easily lose 150 euros. Then I don't count on the active holders or if you were to drive different cars. If your smartphone needs to be replaced after a year, you have to buy a new brodit holder again. So it's an expensive business. They can use 'gap openers' to fiddle with their holder between the openings of your console, but I'm not a fan of forcing stuff into my car.
Finally, you have the holders that you can place on the ventilation system. The latter seemed to me to be the best solution, although it was again a hellish journey in the woods because there are also numerous variants. The problem, however, is that all car holders are either too big, or consist of different parts, or have to be put together too complicated, or are brand specific.
All my previously mentioned problems were solved in one fell swoop with this Kenu Airframe. It's portable, light, flexible, discreet, and of course it clips very securely to my air vent.
You simply slide the Airframe onto the air grille and it hangs. Then place your smartphone between the 2 rubber clamps, where you can extend 1 clamp so that almost any mobile phone or smartphone can be placed in between. Thanks to the rubber clamps, the device is very firmly fixed.
In addition, the Airframe is compatible with all kinds of air vents. You can hang it on diagonal or vertical air vents. As a result, you can also place your smartphone horizontally or vertically between the clamps.
I really recommend this Kenu Airframe to anyone who wants the following things from their car holder:
discreet: aesthetic and safe
portable
easy to apply
universal: for almost any mobile phone/smartphone
free space for cable(s)
securely fastened
flexible: for any type of grid, horizontal or vertical placement of mobile phones/smartphones, can be placed anywhere on the grid.

So simple, only very good designers can do that!!
GOOD:
small, inconspicuous, modest
too simple, great to use, just like holding an iPhone with assistance
brilliantly designed, everything is right... continues to work well and after 2 days you never want anything else
before this I had complete charging stations and expensive car chargers... but this one with a simple charger beats everything (especially in a slightly older car ;)
BAD:
he won't get me coffee

Sturdy and easy to mount phone holder
Sturdy (doesn't vibrate)
Easy to assemble
Take protective covers into account
Can be seen as a bit pricey
I was looking for a phone holder in the car for my Galaxy S2 that is sturdy (so no suction cups, etc.), is easy and quick to mount and takes a protective cover into account. Read a lot of reviews about the variety of products, but in the end only this one seemed to meet the criteria.
The holder is easy to place on an air vent and can be rotated both horizontally and vertically (the holder also takes thin and thick ventilation openings into account in terms of attachment: you can choose). It is a great holder that meets expectations and, in my case, was easy to fit in a Fiat Grande Punto. As far as I'm concerned, I really recommend it, despite the fact that the product may be seen as a bit pricey for some. Worth twice as much!
