But I don't have any use for it either. I've secured one of the attachments under my workbench and can now use it as a stationary cutter in an instant! Of course I made the recess for it with the Makita itself. Furthermore, changing cutters is a piece of cake. Super easy because you can remove the cutter from its attachment. With the ELU it is sometimes a bit of a mess with, for example, the somewhat larger milling heads. On my ELU I work with 8mm and 12mm bits and one of the reasons I bought this Makita was that I could use my 8mm bits on it too. The included collet for 8mm isn't that great, though. Only has one notch and therefore the cutters simply come off more difficult. The 6mm collet has 4 notches (as I think it should always be). Although I don't have to change cutters very often, I do find it a minus that sometimes negates the great advantage of the easy change. Furthermore, I think the M box is a bit overkill and I don't think I'll be using it much. All in all, however, a great cutter that can do a lot more than I expected!
