According to our remote for cameras expert
The set comes with 4 AAA batteries.
The set has a large range of 100 meters.
You have the same relaxation options as on your camera.
The set is not very compact and can not stay on the camera if you want to put it in your bag.
Control your camera from a distance of 100mwith the Pixel Aremote Control RW-221/E3. The receiver can be placed on top of the camera with the hot shoe connection. The transmitter has the same recording functions as your camera. This way, you can set the transmitter to single recording, multiple recording, bulb, or timer. The set works on AAA batteries. With normal use, these batteries have a lifespan of 3 years in the receiver and 400 hours in the transmitter.
I bought this remote trigger because my tripod is not always stable on the highest setting and I wanted to minimize the movements in dark rooms during photo shoots with cars.
The trigger comes in a user-friendly packaging containing: the trigger, the remote control, the cable to connect the trigger to your device and 4 AAA-sized batteries that are not rechargeable.
In terms of use, it is very simple, you attach the trigger to the hot shoe of your camera (the part on which you can click an external flash) after which you tighten it. You take the cable and insert one end into the trigger, the other end into the GPS port of your Nikon device. You turn on the trigger by pressing the on/off button for 2 seconds, after which you will see a red light flash on a regular basis. The remote control works just like the shutter release on your camera: half-press to focus and push through to take the photo. While you focus, the light on the remote control as well as on the trigger lights up green.
In terms of modes, however, you are a bit more limited, so you have the single shot, burst, BULB and timelapse mode. Not really a limitation for me, but for others it might be a disadvantage if they want to change the settings of the device from the remote control.
I haven't had to replace the batteries yet, so they would last 3 years in the receiver and 400 hours in the transmitter. After a few weeks I'm still not at it. A disadvantage, however, is, as mentioned earlier, that no rechargeable batteries are included, on the other hand you can't really complain about this detail for 30 EUR.
So I can conclude that I definitely recommend this product for someone who likes to have a remote trigger that does what you ask of it without too many extras for a low price!

If you buy a remote control, you naturally expect that you can operate your camera remotely without too many actions. Well with this remote control you can! It has a large range, easy to set up and even batteries are included. Then you think, this can never be much good for "only 30 euros", well then you are wrong. Even for 30 euros, a good and solid product can now be delivered!
So if you want to take long exposure photos or of course secretly take the ultimate selfie, I would definitely recommend this remote control!
