According to our lens filter expert
With a reduction of 10 stops, long shutter speeds are also possible during the day.
With the filter in front of the lens, focusing in dark situations can be difficult.
The Hoya PRO ND1000 gray filter provides a light reduction of 10 stops. A shutter speed of 1/250 seconds is reduced by the filter for the lens to 4 seconds. With a ND1000 filter you turn your waterfalls into a white veil. But even the sea or a cloudy sky changes into a smeared hint due to the slow shutter speed. Various coatings prevent color changes and loss of contrast, so that the filter does not negatively affect the quality of your photos.
Very simple to use!
