The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM is a luminous intensity lens. Due to the large maximum aperture of f/1.8, you can take photos with background blur and attract attention to your subject. This will allow you to take beautiful portraits pictures. The stepping motor (STM) not only makes the lens suitable for photography, but also videography. This focusing motor allow you to focus on your subject smoothly and silently. You won't have any disruptive noises in your videos.
