According to our projector expert
This short throw projector produces large images from a short distance.
Thanks to lens shift, you can project high-quality images from an angle.
While gaming, the low input lag minimizes the delay between the controller and the on-screen action.
The projector doesn't play files from a USB flash drive.
With the BenQ W2000, you'll be able to enjoy large, focused projections even in a small room. When it's positioned 2.5 meters from a wall, this short throw projector projects a 100-inch image. Thanks to the Full HD resolution, even the smallest details will be crystal clear, no matter whether you're watching a presentation, your favorite movie, or looking at vacation photos. You can place the projector in various positions, as the vertical lens shift and keystone correction ensure great images from any angle. Thanks to its cleverly located openings and fans, the projector produces little noise when it's on.
Great Budget Home Theater Projector.
You can see the rainbow effect if you sit too close to it and move your head left and right, if you are at the right distance, you will not be bothered by this.
Room must be darkened; at least with 100 inch image, The image is probably fine to see at 50 inches.
Too bad the projector was reduced in price a week after I bought it.

After reviewing many HD projectors for a long time and reading even more professional and user reviews, we finally opted for the BenQ W2000. My starting points were, among other things, a high Lumen number and as little ventilation noise as possible, of course in addition to things like colors and color settings, good black values, setting options, ease of use, etc. In short, a device that would meet all my needs on all fronts. It gradually became clear to me that such a beamer could not be found for a price that was affordable for me. Concessions should therefore be made on one or more aspects. Ultimately that became the black value and that turned out to be a weak point of this otherwise very fine beamer. I only use this for Home Cinema purposes and I couldn't think of a better one. Partly due to the connection to a separate audio surround set, the cinema feeling is truly astonishingly realistic. So far, every day has been a few hours of cinema day for me!

I had to cover a short distance of 2.5 m to get a large image projection. This works fine with this beamer (in combination with the screen). Razor-sharp image, also not too expensive HDMI cable of 7.5 m. This supports K4.
