Wiring connection to the satellite speakers cheap and clumsy.

Bought this set to replace the old KEF set. Compared to the old one, the subwoofer is limited adjustable. The wiring of the satellite speakers can be secured by means of a spring/clamp system where the old one had gold-plated screw fastening. Incidentally, I read somewhere that the subwoofer would be a non-active one, but it really is.

Top quality! Fast/smooth installation. HiFi set with sleek design and pure sound quality. Perfectly adjustable in combination with the Pioneer VSX-831 as desired. Unfortunately, the subwoofer falls short on the really deep bass, but with some patience and knowledge of the amplifier, a more than decent compromise can be made here. And if the amplifier allows it (as with the Pioneer) a 2nd sub can always be connected :D. The boxes themselves were slightly larger than expected (and heavier) so that the placement had to be slightly different than planned. Something that ultimately only benefited the sound quality. Very positive about this set!
