After a lot of searching and comparing I came up with the Outdoorchef Chelsea 480. The possibility to grill indirectly and directly through the funnel seemed ideal to me and a slightly higher working height too. Putting it together is a bit of a job and the manual is not always clear. That could be better. This left two rings that were not named anywhere. The height of the bbq is ideal, slightly higher than I was used to. We chose a 480 instead of 570 and so far it works fine (family of 5p). It is quite complete, with a moisture container and therefore the aforementioned funnel for grilling directly and indirectly. You can change this during the barbecue by turning the grid, which is a clever idea. (not used yet)
The lid has a hook to hang it on, which is fine in itself, but a hinge works better. The handle gets quite hot by the way, because the ventilation hole is close to it and the lid is fairly heavy. Being able to top up with new coal via the 'hatch' in the grid is also handy. The material used looks solid, but time will tell. We are very satisfied with the actual result, the meat comes off nicely cooked and you can pretty well regulate how quickly you want to barbecue through the two ventilation openings.
All in all, we are not dissatisfied (certainly for the price) and I expect that we will enjoy this bbq for a long time to come.
