I see a lot of reviews stating that it doesn't shave close, but that's why it's a trimmer and not a shaver. The product trims the hair very short for a nice fresh look. I have now used it 3x and no irritations such as itching (which I do have when shaving). When it needs to be charged, it does go a bit slower. Hairs remain in the edges of the product even after washing. I sometimes take them out with a toothpick. Masking the edges would probably work too. For me it is not a burden, because I am already happy that the product works well and is comfortable to use. Charging is also useful because a light turns on. The product is exactly what I wanted, I am very happy with it!
