The delivery of this washer dryer combination by Coolblue was neatly delivered on the agreed date and installed and connected by two nice young people. They did not find it a problem at all that the heavy machines had to be lifted over the washbasin to remove the old ones and then place the new ones. Everything went without accidents and nothing was damaged. So kudos.

After using it for about a week now, I can only say: I should have done that sooner! My old machine was a 15 year old Asko and not really the best. It was a top Swedish-made machine and one of the first Asko models with digital readout and control. The thing was not broken yet and it still ran its laps up to 1600 rpm and was quieter than the new AEG. But lately the laundry came out of the drum less and less clean, especially the underwear. The fact that both owners have become oldies and that the laundry always had to go to the attic or outside to dry was one of the reasons for purchasing the current washer-dryer combination.

After some getting used to, we can only conclude that the AEG does the job in an excellent way. The whites, especially the underwear, come out of the machine much cleaner than their illustrious predecessor. What is particularly nice is that everything can be stored in a dry place. Straight out of the machine in the cupboard on the same floor and so no more dragging up or down. And the laundry is now wonderfully soft through the dryer. A pleasure to hold the wax pieces that used to feel somewhat hard or stiff, now silky soft in your hands.

The operation is easy and logical, with the clear display which settings have been made. Of course it takes some time to get to know everything, but the user manual will help you on your way. In the various reviews about this device and comparable machines, the long duration of washing with subsequent drying is often indicated. The drying process does take quite a while. Separate dryers would be faster here, but I have no experience with that because we have never had a separate dryer due to the weather. the available space in the bathroom.
