I use the cable in combination with a MacBook Pro (early 2013) and an LG 27” 4K monitor (27UK850-W). The combination works, but not all display resolutions are supported. I was aware of this in advance since the MacBook Pro is from 2013. 4K is only possible at 30 Hz. Full-HD does work at 60 Hz, but is not ideal because everything is displayed mega large. Via a tool a custom screen resolution is assigned which is higher than full-HD and refresh rate set to 60 Hz. I am satisfied! :)

Because of this cable, my 4K screen can run the full 60hz, instead of the supplied HDMI cable. Please indicate this in the description of the monitor.

I connected my iMac to a monitor with this cable, and now I can use two screens at once.
