After much deliberation, decided to purchase. And that was a very good choice, because for an entry-level model, the Pioneer DDJ-RB offers enough possibilities to help the novice DJ on the way to put together a nice set. The very extensive functions such as 16 hot cue points, 16 different functions under the Pad FX, an extensive slicer function plus a sampler function that you normally find on the more expensive decks. For both the novice DJ and the more experienced DJ, the Pioneer DDJ RB offers the convenience, a nicely priced entry-level model and for the advanced DJ, the DDJ RB offers enough options to mix your set with a full version of RekordBox instead of a trial version. or stripped-down version with limited features of the complete package.
