Before this I had a Philips airfryer XL for almost 3 years which, of course, gave up the ghost after the warranty period... We were so used to the convenience of the airfryer that a new one had to come quickly. We thought the Philips was too expensive and broke too quickly that we looked further. We came to this device because of the reviews and the great price. We have been using this device for a while now and we are happy with it. Nice device with easy operation. I find it inconvenient that the tray is attached to the scale and not on a rails like Philips. Now you pull both out and when you empty your basket on the plate, all the fat will also be added... In addition, the fryer will stop immediately as soon as you remove the basket. Irritating.

The baking results are good. The fries and other snacks need a lot longer than in the Philips, but are fine afterwards! Baked-off breads also go well with this.

When the desired preheating temperature is reached, the device does not beep, which is quite inconvenient. So you have to go and see when it is warm. We were used to this. Operation is childishly simple and clear.

The volume of blowing the device is a lot more pleasant and cleaning also seems to be easier. It is inconvenient that the "exhaust" is at the back and no longer on top.

All in all, we are satisfied with the device and we do not really miss the Philips airfryer.

Had an Actifry for 5+ years but was not happy with the use and the noise so I started looking for something else. It turns out that expensive isn't always better: this Inventum is a fraction of the price of the Tefal/Philips competitors, while the result is really unexpectedly good!

I cleaned the thing well according to the manual and as the first meal I put a fish burger (frozen) and French fries (supermarket fresh) in it at 200 degrees / 18 minutes. Forgot to shake the fries halfway through so was a few minutes late, but still fine crispy and brown all around. Also applies to the fish burger and after 16 minutes they were already out. The sound is also not too bad: a kind of buzz, but because it is quite closed I can still hear the TV (open kitchen) and that was almost impossible with the previous one!

Even a pulled pork pie baked in it: perfect. Hamburger (fresh) and again the fresh fries: also prefect.

I'm definitely going to use it more often now and try other things (self-baking cinnamon rolls is next on the list) because it's just a joy to use.

I don't dare to say anything about durability: I've just had it at home for a week, so ask me again in a year or two ;).
