According to our smart light expert
With the Philips Hue Runner 3-spot White with Dimmer, you not only light up a painting or furniture, but also the hallway or living room. This wall or ceiling lamp has 2 rotatable light points with Philips Hue White Ambiance spotlights. The spotlights can be dimmed from cool, white light to warm, white light using the included Hue dimmer. If you already own a Philips Hue bridge, you can use it to control these lamps using the Hue app.
Philips Hue lights are compatible with various smart home platforms, such as Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, IFTTT, and Apple HomeKit.

The latest extension in our home where we already have a number of Hue lamps in use. When a new lamp had to be installed in the bedroom, the choice was quickly made. Our bed is in the middle of the room, so we had to get out of bed to turn the light on or off. Thanks to this system, this is no longer necessary. These three spots integrate well with the rest of the lamps and can be controlled by both bridge v1 and bridge v2.
The light output is more than fine and the different color warmth presets are actually more than you will use. Compared to other lamps from the Hue series, the price is not too bad. It is a nice solid set of spots, which you can turn in all directions. The spots are also adjustable so that you can change the side on which they hinge.
The included dimmer does its job well and the magnetic holder is easy to mount against the wall. Double-sided adhesive tape is already fitted as standard, but you can also attach it to the wall using two screws. Read in other reviews that you cannot use the dimmer if you connect the lamps to a bridge. This is not the case with us (in combination with a v2 bridge). We can use these interchangeably without any problems.
Installing it on the ceiling caused some minor irritation. The small screws on the short side clamp against the bracket that you first hang from the ceiling. But it is a bit of a struggle to keep the cables inboard and to get both sides over the bracket. You can only release the lamp once both screws are in place, so a second person can be easy.
Another point to note, write down the serial numbers of the lamps somewhere before you screw the lamp to the ceiling. The spots are not automatically found by the app, so you have to enter the serial numbers. These numbers can be found on the base of the lamp.
Otherwise very satisfied. It is a beautiful lamp to see and functionally very complete.

Just mounted my Philips Hue Runner. That was easy. Especially because I was able to confirm the fixture by means of a. double sided power tape. Lamp weighs only 1.4 kg, so it is ideal for an even surface.
Nicely designed spots that look very sleek at first glance, but also look good in my retro interior. After mounting, the lamp works immediately in combination with the supplied remote control. Different light shades are beautiful and functional. Warm white for the dining table and bright white when I'm busy in the kitchen. The lamps provide sufficient light, but are never really (too) bright. I have yet to find out when white-blue and white-grey are pleasant, but it is special in any case.
This is my first Philips Hue lamp and I think I immediately understand why most people are so raving about it. No hassle with installing (expensive) dimmers. To further personalize the lighting, you need a Philips Hue Bridge. It is definitely on the wish list for Christmas!

Beautiful, sleek design. Very much now. Confirmation and installation was easy. Remote works fine. The 4 light scenes are nice, although we really only use 2 of them. It would be a nice addition if colored lamps could also be used here, but unfortunately that was not possible.
