    Don't start

Herman | 2 April 2017 | Color: Black | Automatically translated from Dutch

    • Appearance
    • Ease of use
    • Weak engine

After initial enthusiasm about the excellent sound with the standard cartridge and needle, I became very disappointed about this Denon player three months later.
    My advice: don't start!
Unfortunately after the problem-free return period expired, the player's drive motor started to malfunction. With the understanding that the number of revolutions that the engine has to run will start to become erratic. As a result, the records start to sound out of tune. There can be nothing wrong with the next record, to be whining again at the next spin. Denon has clearly chosen not only to have their players made in China, but also to cut back on the parts.
A little further reading on the internet made it clear to me that many more users are already complaining about this shortcoming. Incomprehensible that Denon just keeps selling this player.
Never again a Denon device for me.
