I've had this hard drive for a little over a week. I use this disk as an extra backup drive with an Ewent dual docking station connected via USB3 to the laptop and thanks to a rotation speed of 7200 RPM and 64MB cache, I find this disk to be fairly fast in this setup. 2TB extra storage capacity for this price is definitely a plus. The disk is a bit noisier than my older Western Digital 1.5TB drive, but it's certainly not disturbing. Personally, I would advise users to do a (long-lasting - few hours !!) low level formatting first to increase reliability. Afterwards and if necessary again later, the fast format can be used. Since this disk was not pre-formatted, it must first be made known via the disk management of Windows for, among other things, partitioning and drive letter! The long-term reliability remains to be seen...but so far I'm quite satisfied!
