Unfortunately, it is impossible to toast a slice of bread in it normally, because a piece of it always comes out blackened (see photo). This makes the toaster unusable. Maybe it's because of the odd heating element. This is not straight but curved and provided with strips that may become much warmer (see photo). Toaster unfortunately had to send back.
