According to our baby monitor expert
You can also use the baby unit wirelessly, which is useful when there's no power outlet nearby.
Comfort your child with the two-way audio.
Doesn't have a display on which you can read the time, for example.
The baby monitor has no lullabies to reassure your child.
The Alecto DBX-85 ECO uses DECT technology, making it 100% interference-free. The microphone sensitivity is adjustable in 5 steps. You decide how much sound you want to hear. In addition, a number of LED lights will automatically light up as soon as sound is heard. Lights light up when there is no range or when the battery is empty. To appease the little one during a cry, you can speak to the baby through the parent unit.
A baby monitor with battery is like a smartphone that runs empty when you are playing a movie. The battery life is limited. No fuss on this baby monitor and the sound compatibility can be nice and low. For example, he only goes off when there is really murder and fire and not with every cough. On the other hand, your child may scream so loud that you actually don't need a baby monitor at all.

I had read many good things from alecto. After reading the various options, we opted for the alecto DBX-85. I wanted good range and a talk-back function. We have been using it for 7 weeks now and are very satisfied. No noise a good range. I hear both children loud and clear. The talk-back function is also loud and clear.

I had the alecto dbx 85 for my oldest, a great baby monitor!! Because there is now a second, the dbx 85 eco has been bought. Clear sound but always loses the signal causing the parent unit to beep, even 3 times a night! Alecto called and they indicate that the dbx 85 eco has a different system and is therefore actually a different type ... we had to switch off the eco mode ....
