I was lucky enough to test the Hue White Ambiance for a month. The package I received contains 3 lamps, a remote control/switch panel and the bridge, to which everything is connected via WiFi. The installation takes a few minutes and is very easy. Most of the time is spent understanding the app. This is not always easy and efficient. For example, it is not possible to choose your own light scene in the widget, but only the pre-delivered scenes. Which means you sometimes have to turn on the right lighting via a detour. However, the app is very extensive, so you can set everything as desired.

The lamps are ideal for a multifunctional space. For example, I live in a studio, where I work, sleep, eat and spend my free time. Instead of buying different lamps to create the right lighting for every activity, I can just adjust my 3 large lamps with the Philips Hue lights and an app on my phone. I also use the lamps before getting up, because they can also work as wake up lights, which come on slowly in the morning.

Because everything is connected via WiFi, you can also control the lamps remotely. So if you forgot to turn off the lights, you can easily do that from work with the app. But there is also a function to automatically turn off the lights when you leave the house. It's just what you prefer.
