According to our television mount expert
This mount is made of strong materials and feels sturdy.
Thanks to the wide turning radius, you can easily point the TV to any place in the room.
With this mount, there is a distance between your TV and the wall.
With the Vogel's Wall 3245 Black , you can easily aim your TV in different directions. This sturdy television mount is pivotable by 180 degrees and tiltable by 20 degrees. If you want to mount the TV high up on the wall, you can tilt the mount. This way, the screen is clearly visible and you prevent distracting reflections. With the level function, you can completely level the screen after you've installed it with a single turn of a dial. If you need help with the installation, download the TV Mount Guide app on your smartphone or tablet. This app uses the included poster as a reference point, so you know exactly where to drill the first hole.

Design
This is a nice sleek and sturdy design. The enormous turning angle makes it possible for us to watch with 1 TV in both the dining area and the sitting area. Mounting the brackets on the TV and hanging the TV on the wall arm is child's play. All mounting materials are included, even the necessary spacers for the TV screws. Mounting the arm to the wall is less simple. We couldn't manage to use the TV mount app from Vogel in combination with Vogel. to determine an adequate position of the viewing height with a small paper template supplied. The app didn't work on my smartphone, by the way, but it did on an old iPad. So I made a paper template myself.... Leveling after the TV is mounted is very easy. The only problem is that with the arm extended and the TV turned fully to the left or right, the arm still seems to "sag". in other words it only hangs level in a fixed position, but as soon as you start turning it is "out of plumb". And yes... the wall plate is level and the TV mounting brackets are aligned according to instructions. The biggest downside, however, is the flexibility of the shaft in the middle of the arm with which you can bend the arm. Without TV, all 3 axes (behind the TV, in the arm and near the wall plate) turn very smoothly. With the TV attached, the axle in the arm does nothing anymore: we have an ultra-thin 55 inch of 16 kg and don't dare to put the necessary force to get it moving. The other 2 axles turn smoothly enough. A point of attention when you determine the mounting location of the wall bracket. We now (forced to) hang it flat against the wall with a fully extended arm. A small downside is that only 1 conductor is included for the attachment of the cables. 2 pieces would have been practical.
All in all, a disappointing brace, given the price. If you usually keep one in 1 position, it is definitely a winner.

Very nice product! To start with, it is immediately apparent that the build quality is top notch! When moving the arm you notice that the construction has been thought out just a little better. Everything moves smoothly. If you push your TV all the way to the wall, there is of course more space between the wall and TV than with a fixed bracket, but nevertheless the distance is only 5-6 cm. When purchasing the bracket, it is useful to order a longer power cable and HDMI cables due to the risk of damage. the distance from the wall when you pull the TV forward. I found this out too late :). In short, a great product that is definitely worth the money.

The current wall holder was too small for the new TV, so I ordered this one. I knew that birds provide a lot of installation material from my previous experiences with their wall mounts, this was also the case now. The App was not really an added value, just measuring it turned out to work best. Everything felt very stable and turned/tilted smoothly before the device was attached. However, after I hung the TV (weight 25 kg, well under the max 30), I notice that the support rotates very poorly ... if I lift the device a bit, this works better, but this is not nearly as smooth as with my other wall mounts of Birds. The mount also has a magnetic element that can tilt the device 20 degrees forward. I was shocked and thought the thing was falling off the wall when it came off the first time pushing the device back. What is ingenious about this support is that if you have perhaps not mounted it completely level on the wall, you can still adjust it from all sides so that your device hangs perfectly (clockwise/counterclockwise I, tilt forward, tilt backwards... etc...) All in all a top product, just a pity that it is so stiff...
