The JBL 5.1 bar is definitely recommended. I'm not a sound nerd... but I do like good sound. This set has not disappointed me yet. Sound is clean and the sub is more than adequate. At its loudest the front door vibrates out and at its quietest you hear nothing at all. Super easy manual and remote control.

For some it can be a problem that the bar can't connect to Wifi. For me this is not really a problem. Just Bluetooth and play.

I also think the design is a plus. It all feels solid and looks well finished. If you have the separate speaker in your hand, it is also really solid and heavy. There is also a good magnet in it so if you want you can also stick it against your fridge. Not really practical, but nice.
