We are quite pleased with Samsung's image and sound here at home; our previous setup was a Samsung TV with a soundplate with sub in it underneath. At the beginning of this year we bought a larger TV from Samsung and we wanted a soundbar under it. We think a bar is nicer than a plate. One of the conditions was that there would be no separate subwoofer, but the sound should be full and deep. Mission accomplished with this Samsung HW-N400. Really a lot of sound packaged very compactly.
After we had the soundbar at home, we naturally tested the sound in various ways. 'Just' at the TV, with a thick war film and of course also with music in different genres. We are really very satisfied. This soundbar has a deeper/heavier sound than our soundplate, and we were already satisfied with that.
Pairing with the Samsung TV was really a piece of cake, they find each other in the blink of an eye and are then paired. The bar looks very tight under the TV, at first it even seemed a bit too small for our large TV, but after getting used to it it still looks very slick. When you turn the sound up or down, you see feedback in the middle of the bar in the form of a plus or a minus. Very subtle but very clear. Another advantage is the easy communication via bluetooth with your phone. We no longer use our bluetooth radio, because you can throw Spotify into the room via the soundbar and it gives super sound.
