Simply insert the plug into the socket and choose one of the 16 million colors or shades of white. The fixture is made of aluminum and has an IP65 certification. You can connect the smart outdoor lights to the Hue Bridge (not included). With the app on your smartphone, you can turn the lights on and off remotely, set a specific light color, or automatically switch the light on at sunset. Thanks to geofencing, the light automatically turns on when you come home and off when you leave. The outdoor light is also compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, or Google Assistant.

Brightness could have been better

Enlarge your living room with color. Hue lighting for your garden is highly recommended. In the evenings I even leave my curtains open longer, so that I can see that beautifully lit garden through the sliding doors. And if the weather is nice, you can create a super cozy seat outside with Hue. Only downside is that some colors are not bright enough.
