I actually bought the device because my HK DAB tuner no longer works (due to the switch to DAB+). That's why I suddenly opted for a receiver.. My previous Yamaha AV amplifier DSP-A5, which still works perfectly, but retired early. It still had enough digital connections, but it was from before the HDMI era. But in the end very happy with the switch. The sound produced by RX-S602 is much purer than the more powerful DSP A5. Also the processing of the signal to the different channels in the different modes is so much better than the 20 year old A5. In terms of sound and settings, the RX-S602 is superb!!!. But oh dear, it takes a while to set everything up correctly !!! excellent receiver with a great price/quality ratio.
