Undoubtedly, the 700 is the best. However, given the relatively large price difference and the also very good Bose Bass module 500, I chose the 500 myself. The 500 is certainly sufficient for a good surround, even in our fairly large living room (80 m²). Moreover, you can place it in your TV furniture without any problems, without resonance in or around the furniture, the small size is also a plus.

Use it with the Bose soundtouch 300 soundbar. Thought the Bose Bass Module 500 wouldn't work with this at first, However it works perfectly. This upgrade gives 100% added value to your sound bar.

According to our subwoofer expert
Clear bass in your music: thanks to the average frequency range down to 40 hertz, you can clearly hear the bass in your favorite music.
Tight bass in music: thanks to the 6-inch woofer, you’ll enjoy tight bass without distortion.
Place it wherever you want: you can place the subwoofer wherever you want thanks to the wireless connection.
Not for the deepest movie tones: if you want to hear the deepest bass in an action movie, you'll need a lower frequency range down to 30 hertz.
Not suitable for large rooms: we recommend a larger woofer if you want to fill a large room with sound.
