Finally a sports watch you can rely on! After using various activity trackers/sports watches, such as the samsung gear sport and the fitbit charge 2 and 3, I was looking for a watch whose heart rate measurement is reliable during exercise. I chose the vantage m because of its heart rate measurement with 9 LEDs(!) and it has not disappointed me (yet). The other watches I've owned didn't show a good heart rate reading during exercise, so all data obtained from the heart rate was worthless. The vantage m can do this and is very reliable in that respect. I think a small disadvantage is that you have to wear the strap quite tight for a good heart rate measurement. In addition to the beautiful design, the GPS also works well. Gps connection was found quickly and distances traveled correspond to the gps of my samsung a5 phone (30 meters difference at 10 km). I am satisfied with the battery. With continuous heart rate measurement on and an average of 3 hours of use of the GPS, the watch can easily last 5 days on one battery charge. Fully charging the vantage m in one and a half hours. The polar flow app shows a nice overview of your activities/training etc. But with the polar flow web service you can analyze all data in all shapes and sizes. With the training load pro you can see whether you are training well or if you should take it easy. To make reliable use of this function, you must first have collected 4 weeks of data. Sleep tracking is less brilliant. Here you only see the sleep time and your restless time.
