Perfect camera in the Unifi system

Sharp image
easy to install
no thick cable, so small drill hole

It's not the cheapest camera, but it's a very good one. I already used Ubiquiti Unifi equipment (USG, Switch, APs) for my network and I have a Cloud Key Gen2 that I now also use as a storage and player for the images.

This camera feels completely at home in its new network. It was really a matter of plugging in the camera via PoE. On the Cloud Key I then saw him pop up and after a click on adopt he immediately started streaming.

The daytime quality is very good. Faces are clearly visible up to 8 meters, after that it starts to get a bit difficult due to noise. You can solve this by using the optical zoom, but that is of course at the expense of the images close by.

It is also a very good image at night. I use it to keep an eye on the driveway (you never know what crazy plans such a driveway has) and don't use the IR lights. There is a lamppost about 5 meters away from the driveway and with that everything is clearly visible. By turning off the IR lights, I am also not bothered by insects flying past in front of the lens.

I am also very satisfied with the detection zone that is easy to set. For example, I don't get an alert every time someone drives down the street, but only when people walk into my driveway.
