Overall, this switch does what you'd expect it to do. The installation via the Hue app is clear and fast. The switch has 4 buttons and you can also set them all separately.

The kinetic energy system, which means that you do not need a power connection or batteries, is nice, but you do have a heavy button that you have to press firmly because this movement has to generate all the energy. This feels annoying. It would have been nice if there had been an alternative with battery such as the Hue Dimmer Switch.

Where most Niko material comes with a sturdy metal base, here you get a plastic version that is far too flexible to screw into an existing flush-mounted box and then click the closing plate on it. Given the high price, I expected a bit more here.
