This seems useful to us, although we have not used this function. Warm-up time is fast, 20sec. The device switches itself off after a few minutes of not being used, then rinses itself for a while.
The coffee: Taste is personal, but a nice cup of coffee can be achieved with your favorite coffee bean. After setting, a nice, thick crema layer is created that remains stable. The mill does its job well. Standard already nicely adjusted, gives nice, dry 'pucks' after setting. Making coffee goes smoothly; a medium espresso has a run time of 12sec at 42mL.
Cappuccino: You can create good foam with the steam nozzle, even with semi-skimmed milk.
