Finally after years I found a fan that I can be satisfied with.
I had one years ago (in the bedroom for the whole night) that I was very satisfied with, but I broke it myself during maintenance. After years of looking for a new one and never found a good one, until I found this one!
It is the best fan I've seen, it is adjustable with a mini remote control, but also at the foot with a push-turn knob like the control knob in a BMW. Using it is not obvious. But I still use the remote from my bed.
At night it is also very important that it is quiet, that it does not emit any light and does not make irritating beeping noises. I don't understand how some other brands can make a fan (with sleep function) with a lit screen on it that doesn't go off and thus illuminates the whole room. I also don't understand how those same (with sleep function) fans make a deafening beep with every button you press, so that your bedmate wakes up. This Duux does not do all this (it does beep but very softly) and on top of that it blows a lot quieter while it still has quite a bit of power. In the sleep mode, the screen only lights up when you do something with it and even then it doesn't give too much light.
It can turn in 2 directions, automatically, and can do this to the extreme. I don't use this because I want the fan pointed at me all night (slightly above me), but yes, it does.
The only drawback I think is that, although it is adjustable in height and can be made very small, it does not really hit very high. An extra 20cm would have been nice.
I hope it lasts a long time, because this is a very nice device. It's a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it!
