According to our fan expert
The Duux Whisper White is a stand fan with a range of about 15m, which you can simply turn on from the couch thanks to the remote. The Duux is completely adjustable to your liking. You can rotate the fan from left to right, and up and down. With a choice of 26 settings, you can always find the right wind force. Because it's adjustable in height between 73 and 95cm, you can also put it on the floor, a table, or the window sill. Use the timer to keep a cool breeze blowing through the bedroom for longer while you sleep.

I was looking for a quiet fan for the bedroom and with this Duux I found it. With this I could end this review but go into this device a little further.
This one is not difficult but did take some puzzling. The manual has very small pictures and is not very clear. It is easy to do with videos on the Duux site.
Once put together you have a sturdy device. Nothing that creaks or squeaks. It has a sturdy, handy handle. The cord of almost 2.5 meters is nice and long. I personally think the design in high-gloss white and matte black is very successful.
A fan must ultimately cool well and this Duux does that. It has 26 settings and that seems a bit overkill, but that way you can very precisely control how much noise you want and that is what makes this fan so interesting. On the lowest settings you have a pleasant, light airflow, but you don't hear it with 13 dB and on the highest setting you just about blow away. In addition, it produces 50 dB, but many fans already produce that at the lowest setting. The device therefore cools well. With a maximum height of 95 cm, it is not a real stand fan, but at this height you can sit comfortably in the airflow on the couch. If you don't like that, you can also have your fan blow up. Of course, the fan can rotate from left to right, but also up and down. This allows you to properly distribute the cool air throughout the room.
You can control the fan with a rotary knob, but I find the remote control more convenient. You have to point this right at the button otherwise it won't work. The remote control is small but the buttons are nice. Conclusion: With the Duux you get a more than excellent fan at home. Admittedly, the price is hefty but worth it. If you can afford it and have the money for it, I can heartily recommend this fan.

Finally after years I found a fan that I can be satisfied with. I had one years ago (in the bedroom for the whole night) that I was very satisfied with, but I broke it myself during maintenance. After years of looking for a new one and never found a good one, until I found this one!
It is the best fan I've seen, it is adjustable with a mini remote control, but also at the foot with a push-turn knob like the control knob in a BMW. Using it is not obvious. But I still use the remote from my bed.
At night it is also very important that it is quiet, that it does not emit any light and does not make irritating beeping noises. I don't understand how some other brands can make a fan (with sleep function) with a lit screen on it that doesn't go off and thus illuminates the whole room. I also don't understand how those same (with sleep function) fans make a deafening beep with every button you press, so that your bedmate wakes up. This Duux does not do all this (it does beep but very softly) and on top of that it blows a lot quieter while it still has quite a bit of power. In the sleep mode, the screen only lights up when you do something with it and even then it doesn't give too much light.
It can turn in 2 directions, automatically, and can do this to the extreme. I don't use this because I want the fan pointed at me all night (slightly above me), but yes, it does.
The only drawback I think is that, although it is adjustable in height and can be made very small, it does not really hit very high. An extra 20cm would have been nice.
I hope it lasts a long time, because this is a very nice device. It's a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it!

Let's start positively; It is an extremely quiet fan in the beginning, without annoying noises and a good appearance.
Disadvantage; The 1st direct return because of a noise, a kind of old-fashioned hard disk it seems, not extremely present but irritating if you are wrong.
Fortunately, a new one was delivered the next day via Coolblue and the old one returned in the original box. (top!) after a week or 3 it also started to rattle. I can live with it but it detracts a lot from the product and I honestly don't think it's worth the price for this reason.
Where is the problem? I think because the fan blades are not well balanced, there is a load on the shaft of the motor, when you disassemble the fan you also feel a tap in the motor when manually turning (turn off first!). So I suspect that cheap materials have been chosen and that is really a shame.
I hoped I had a bad model, but the 2nd has exactly the same problem.
Pro tip, you have the least of this problem if you tilt the fan exactly at 90 degrees.
