According to our hedge trimmer expert
You can also prune the top of the hedge without a ladder thanks t the telescopic lance.
You can rotate the handle, you can always work in a comfortable position and you can also prune difficult corners of the hedge.
The hedge trimmer is battery-powered, so you don't get bothered by extension cables.
The necessary battery isn't included, so you can't get started right away.
Cordlessly trim high hedges with the Bosch UniversalHedgePole 18 (without battery). This hedge trimmer runs on battery power (not included by default), so you can get to work in your garden without extension cords. You can use the telescopic lance in a length between 2 and 2.6m. This way, you no longer have to stand on a ladder to reach the top of your hedge. With the long 43cm bar, you cut branches up to 16mm thick. The head is extra useful here because it can pivot 135 degrees, which allows you to prune at various angles without having to stand. The UniversalHedgePole 18 makes pruning very easy.

The product is too heavy to handle even with shoulder strap and not powerful enough

It is not very suitable for heavier hedges. You cannot apply force to cut further back or prune close up.

A solid tool for smaller gardens. For longer work sessions, I find it less comfortable because it feels relatively heavy, even with a shoulder strap. Additionally, due to its size, it is not ideal for pruning smaller shrubs and hedges, even on the smallest setting.
