Introduction In this short review I'm going to talk about the following points:
How did I arrive at this lamp? We have several smart products from IKEA TRÅDFRI at home, but we were looking for a Filament lamp for above the dining table, since this lamp is hanging at eye level and can therefore be seen in full view, we do not like a standard white lamp. Unfortunately, IKEA has only had 1 single lamp of only 250lm in the form of Filament and that is of course too little for above a dining table. So after a lot of research about the zigbee principle (the protocol with which Philips Hue and IKEA TRÅDFRI lamps work) and contact with the Coolblue customer service (who did not give the right advice and told me that this would NOT work) I took the gamble and this Bought a Philips lamp and luckily it worked with the IKEA TRÅDFRI hub and in 1x without problems, but more about that later!
Appearance The appearance of the lamp, as I mentioned in the introduction, this lamp hangs above the dining table (when standing) at eye level, hence the choice for a Filament lamp instead of the standard white one. The lamp is therefore a real "standard" Filament lamp, it has the shape of a standard bulb, is transparent as can be seen in the photos and with the "filament" in spiral shape clearly visible.
Well, how much can one write about the appearance of a pear?
Personally, I think the appearance of the lamp is just standard, you know what you are buying with this type of lamp and it meets the expectations.
Installation Just to be clear: I use the lamp in combination with IKEA TRÅDFRI, and therefore also with the connection hub from IKEA, the Installation has therefore been done according to the IKEA TRÅDFRI manual.
My connection hub was already installed with several IKEA lamps, and I have a separate TRÅDFRI remote control to connect the lamps. The installation of the Philips lamp went as follows: I screwed the lamp into the fitting, held the remote control at max. 5cm from the Philips lamp, then pressed the pairing button until the lamp started to dim and it then blinked once to turn on indicate that the pairing was successful, a child can do the laundry.
Light / Brightness As can be read in the specifications, the lamp is 550 lumen and for us this (with 1 single lamp) is bright enough above the dining table but I can imagine that this is not the case for others, I think 550lm is a bit the lower limit in terms of light. Unfortunately, in terms of light and brightness, 550lm is the max. that I personally found in the Filament lamp segment with Zigbee principle. We therefore almost always have the lamp on full (i.e. not dimmed), only when we sit in front of the TV in the evening, the lamp is dimmed or simply turned off. The light is just standard white (color temperature: 2100K) and CANNOT be adjusted.
Conclusion The Philips Hue Filament lamp White standard E27 is an excellent lamp that does what you may expect from it and which we have been enjoying for a number of weeks. The Filament lamp is a sight to behold and installation is simple and a big plus is that it also works with IKEA TRÅDFRI. In terms of light, it is sufficient, but perhaps not for everyone, keep this in mind and hopefully in the future there will be more lamps in the Filament segment with a higher number of lumens. All in all, this lamp is definitely recommended!

A very nice addition to my Philips Hue system. After having seen these filament lamps in every home improvement store, I am now glad that there is a good smart variant. I also bought this lamp mainly for the design and for the atmosphere, not so much as 'functional' light. I also think he has a too warm glow for the latter. It can be very bright but also nicely dimmed. Mine does have a few small scratches on the glass of the globe. Not very noticeable, but it is a shame because this is a lamp that you buy for the appearance and that is intended to look at.

We have 3 lamps hanging above the dining room table. The lamps shine a nice warm color. The installation was also done in no time. They were connected to the Hue bridge via the hue app. Then connected to the Google Home, so now the lamps can be turned on and off quickly and easily via voice control.
