No repair possible for software issue when sent back to Gopro, had to refund and re-order
I had this camera for less than a week when it received a software update, which broke the camera. The camera would go black on the display from start up and the camera would freeze. After several reboots and formats and factory resets, it finally worked again for a couple days before restarting the same repeat issue with black camera feed on display and freezing. TRied looking up a solution on GoPro support pages, none of the solutions worked, there was no help from GoPro customer support. Ended up sending it back to Coolblue, they in turn sent it back to GoPro for returns, no repair, just refunded and had to re-order a new one.
Waiting to see if the new one has the same issues, new order arrives tomorrow.
