Very nice fridge for camping. We use it in the tent. Compressor cooler box means just like your fridge at home. It turns on every now and then to cool, but we didn't find that annoying even though we are sensitive sleepers. It actually sounds pretty familiar so we're getting used to it. :) Some lifting, but yes that is in and out of the car. No problem. The coolie has a button with 6 positions, I would say start in terms of setting at position 2 because things freeze very quickly otherwise. She goes like crazy. Within an hour everything will be cold and you can already enjoy a fresh drink.
