Not too heavy and with the comfortable carrying strap it is no problem to take the binoculars with you for longer trips. The binoculars are also shockproof and a rain shower is no problem either.

This viewer was to replace a porro prism 7x50 that was more than 50 years old. Then you expect the image to be better, but no. It is true that the image is sharp and clear for the most part and the magnification and angle of view are slightly better. On the other hand: the distortion at the edges and the blurry bottom part of the image. The latter may be caused by the connection of the eyepieces to my glasses. No problem with my old 7x50. Viewer returned. I want to make progress with my purchase...

Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our binoculars expert
See far away: you can bring subjects closer and see lots of detail thanks to the 12x magnification.
Clear in cloudy weather: you can see clear images on a cloudy day thanks to the 4.5mm exit pupil.
Even in heavy rain: you can use the binoculars without worries in heavy rain or on a boat thanks to the waterproof design.
Less easy to carry: you mainly use these heavy binoculars on a tripod because they weigh 858g.
Less wide overview: you see a smaller part of the surroundings because of the 104-meter field of view.
