To be able to use the new beats solo pro on the plane you need a lightning to audio 3.5 inch cable. The only one currently producing a working cable is Apple. Bought the cable through a second chance at a discount. The cable is very thin, looks fragile. I wonder how long he will last. For the price Apple charges, it should have made a better/thicker cable.
