Even without a manual, the installation went smoothly, but make sure you order a sata cable because it was not included by default (luckily I had one on spare). After the installation, it turns out to be a silent disk that can certainly hold its own in terms of speed. Top product!

As a replacement for a WD in my computer. Unexpectedly, this turns out to be a very quiet disc that you practically don't hear. Of course I can't say anything about durability yet.

Nicely priced yet good hdd, and ssd is better of course but also much more expensive. If you want a hdd and can't afford an ssd, this is recommended, but also fine as a second hdd if you have your system on an ssd!

According to our internal hard drive HDD expert
This drive has been optimized for use in desktop PCs.
Your data is stored more efficiently and quickly, thanks to Multi Tier Caching technology.
With a speed of 7,200RPM, this drive is faster than most internal hard drives for your desktop.
A SATA cable to install the drive in a PC isn't included.
Note: This 3.5-inch internak hard drive only fits in a desktop. So this hard drive isn't suitable for use in a NAS or laptop.
Increase the storage capacity of your desktop PC with the Seagate BarraCuda ST2000DM008 2TB. With 2TB of storage space, you have enough space to store all your vacation photos or film and music collections and save your games. Thanks to the 256MB cache memory, you have faster access to frequently used apps and files. The rotation speed of 7200RPM makes this 3.5-inch BarraCuda faster than a 5400RPM HDD. In addition, the drive lowers the energy consumption without losing any speed.
