Works very well. Only too easy to remove, so I made my own braces.

I am new to the world of smart doorbells, so I only knew market leader Ring. Searched for some information on the Coolblue site and discovered the Eufy. Initially I wanted to go for the Ring pro, because I don't want to be dependent on a battery. The Ring turned out to be my standard bell transformer and you need the supplied Ring bell transformer.
Then you have to adjust your meter box, which results in extra work. With the Eufy, my standard bell transformer was more than sufficient.
The supplied screws of the Eufy please throw them away right away, that's really junk. Just a few screws of your own and he's right there. Just connect the wires and you're done.
Connecting the Home Base II to your router and using the Eufy app on your smartphone makes it very easy to get things going. Even the greatest digital literate can really get it done. The Home Base is talking to you. The image quality is fine and a notification to your phone is lightning fast.
Coincidentally, I found out that the Home Base, which also functions as a “bell”, can only run on WiFi without an Ethernet cable. That saves me a space in the meter cupboard near my router. The app also helps you configure the WiFi and the Home Base talks you through it.
Also ordering and shipping via Coolblue is, as usual, TOP..!!
I think it's a great device..!

According to our doorbell expert
Thanks to the rechargeable battery, you can install the doorbell on existing wiring or wirelessly.
Because the doorbell stores footage locally, you don't need a cloud subscription or SD card to rewatch the footage.
You get a notification via the app when motion is detected, even in the dark.
The 16GB internal memory of the base station isn't expandable.
You need a strong WiFi signal for your HomeBase to use this doorbell.
The Eufy Video Doorbell Battery Set is a smart doorbell with base station that you can install wirelessly. You can view the footage from the doorbell anywhere. The base station stores footage up to 3 months, after which you can view them in the app via an encrypted connection. You connect it to your router with an Ethernet cable. After that, it'll recognize your router, so you can also use the HomeBase wirelessly. In addition, the base station makes a sound when someone rings the doorbell. You'll have a clear view of visitors, thanks to the 2K resolution of the video doorbell. You communicate directly with your visitors via the app. The Eufy Video Doorbell notifies you in case of movement and recognizes the difference between people and animals. You can easily link it to the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.

To stream live footage from your smart doorbell, you need a strong and stable WiFi signal at your front door. Walls and doors limit the wireless signal. Read how to get WiFi at your front door here.
