    Description

    Mow your grass right away and work for longer with the Makita DLM382PT2 with 5.0Ah Battery (2x). Quickly mow lawns of up to 560m2 thanks to the wide cutting swath and powerful battery. You can decide how short you mow the grass with the 13 cutting height settings. With the mulching function, you blow all the shredded grass back onto the garden as fertilizer. Don't want this? Collect the grass in the 40L container. After use, you can collapse the handle of the lawn mower to easily store it. The lawn mower is part of the Makita LXT 18V battery platform. This means you can also use the battery on other (garden) tools from the same platform.

    Does what it should do without noise & cable

    • Mulching on damp grass does not work

    Mows well, mulches less with damp and long grass (see photo 1). This can be partly remedied by going over it a second time at a higher mowing setting. Only have 50m2, so have not had to charge the battery after mowing three times (after the first time). The dual charger apparently has a fan in it. It blows quite clearly audibly while charging. But this one is in the garage and we have no further problems with it. After a lot of comparative research (including Bosch, Wolf) I chose it mainly because of the lower noise pollution (and Makita's good reputation). Delivery was by the way without a smile: was rushed to the sidewalk, the bell pressed and the delivery person left immediately, before we got to the door. Box was slightly damaged (photo 2), content fortunately not. It looked like the lawnmower had been unpacked and re-taped before. The machine itself looked (thankfully) unused. Sustainability score is more an expectation than an experience given the recent purchase. I hope to be able to look forward to a long working life of this little machine. .
