A few times I was almost ready to buy a Dyson for +600 euros. But then Dutch frugality took over again...
A cordless stick vacuum has been at the top of my list for years and after reviews at the Consumers' Association, Coolblue's best choice and a price reduction has actually led me to an impulse purchase. One that I am not dissatisfied with.
any interpretation; I previously bought a Samsung 800 watt bagless vacuum cleaner. After 3 uses, I put this on the marketplace as new and on that platform I quickly bought another Bosch 2800 watt vacuum cleaner. That thing does what it's supposed to do and cleans really well with a lot of noise and energy consumption.
But, that cord that was just too short, the clumsiness, arguing with hose and awkward turning circle (the thing kept tipping over) drove me into Dyson's arms. Until I came across this cordless stick vacuum:
Much cheaper than a Dyson and the reviews are all correct. Easy to grab, handy charging station, little noise and (again) the ease with which you grab it.
I am perfectly satisfied with it. We have an apartment of 130m2 and in the medium setting I can do the whole house. Of course it is different from the old-fashioned vacuum cleaner, but the power of the device and the rotating brush mouth remove most of the dirt. And, pay for your work when you empty the reservoir. What a lot of dust, hair (I'm bald so not mine), and crumbs this vacuum cleaner picks up. And, as I also read before, you really have to get over it. It does not pick up dust and stuff 1 cm next to the suction mouth.
I have not yet used the supplied attachments and that says it all; the thing does what it's supposed to do. I am now in doubt whether I will put my old-fashioned Bosch on the marketplace. But I suspect I will. I haven't touched the old-fashioned vacuum cleaner since we got this Samsung.
The noise level is less than an old fashioned (pre EU legislation) vacuum cleaner. The parts are easy to disconnect, so you can properly clean the vacuum cleaner yourself (mainly the suction nozzle). Some dust is released when emptying the reservoir.
So I've never taken the step to a Dyson and can't compare with other cordless stick vacuums. I can say that I am very satisfied with this device and that I enjoy it every day. Especially with two little men and two cats in the house.
And maybe I will become more critical in the long run, because then such a vacuum cleaner will have become commonplace and the technology will be better. But for now I am really satisfied and recommend this product without hesitation.
