According to our printer expert
It is an all-in-one printer, so you can scan and copy in addition to printing.
With this photo printer, you can print all your photos in good quality on photo paper.
You can print documents directly from an SD card with this printer, without having to use a laptop or PC.
If you want to scan or print a stack of paper in one go, get a printer that supports ADF.
The Epson Expression Photo XP-8606 is an all-in-one photo printer for hobby photographers. Thanks to the 6 separate color cartridges, including light magenta and light cyan, your printed photos will be even more detailed. You can choose the photos you want to print on the built-in color touchscreen. Thanks to the 2 separate paper trays, you can separate photo paper and standard paper. Your printer automatically picks the right paper. With the Epson Expression Photo XP-8606, you can print via an SD card, Google Cloud, Apple AirPrint, and email. Of course, you can also send print jobs from your laptop, PC, tablet, or smartphone via WiFi. You can scan your photos with the flatbed scanner and easily save them.
Note: do you want to print a photo on photo paper? Place the back (with the logo) facing upwards in the printer.
It's a printer and does what it's supposed to do. I haven't printed any photos yet so I don't know if that result is good. I'm disappointed that I didn't pay attention to the scanner myself because you can't scan multi-page with this printer.
