The Tefal Oleoclean Pro is very hygienic because the frying oil is filtered after use in a plastic container, after which the inner pan, basket and lid can be placed in the dishwasher. This keeps the Oleoclean Pro clean, as does the frying oil. You do have to be careful with the amount of frying oil that you put in the Oleoclean, because otherwise the plastic collection container will overflow during the emptying of the pan. Tip, put new frying oil in the plastic container so that you put the right amount in the pan.
