The 5 cup sizes are a normal espresso, a double espresso, a gran lungo of 150ml, a mug of 230ml, and an alto of 414ml. With a water tank of 1.2L, you can make 9 Gran Lungos. As soon as you insert a capsule in the machine, the smart brewing system recognizes the barcode. The coffee machine doesn't just know exactly what type of coffee it is, but it also adjusts the preparation method to it.
