According to our soundbar expert
Because Dolby Atmos sends effects to your listening position via the ceiling, the sound is extra spacious.
With the integrated Google Assistant, you can control the soundbar with voice commands.
You have to purchase an HDMI cable yourself to connect the soundbar to the TV.
With the Philips TAB8905, you enjoy a powerful sound with your television. This 3.1.2 set includes a soundbar and subwoofer and has Dolby Atmos. This technology reflects the sound to your listening position via the ceiling. As a result, a plane flying overhead actually sounds like it's flying above you. Thanks to Google Assistant, you keep your hands free while you watch TV and operate the soundbar from the comfort of your couch with your voice. Ask Google about the weather or the results of your favorite sports match. Integrate the soundbar into your smart home and ask it to dim the lights in the living room or bedroom. Note: do you want to connect the soundbar via the HDMI cable? This isn't included, so you have to purchase it separately.
Soundbar connected to Philips android TV with HDMI cable and ARC/HDMI-CEC (philips easylink). Everything works right out of the box, it is easy to connect. It does look a bit lighter gray in real life than in the photos here.
It handles the various output formats such as Dolby Digital and Dolby Atmos well and these also immediately add such a dimension to the sound that if you then watch something where there is just stereo sound you will be a bit disappointed. There is also the surround option that sends sound through the drivers on top, which is also an improvement. The equalizer options for, for example, music/movies/voice also have a lot of value, and you notice the differences very well. It's great that you can also determine the volume of the subwoofer with the remote control separate from the soundbar.
The only downside I can possibly think of is that it doesn't have an RJ45 (network) port, so it has to be connected to the network via WiFi.

The great thing is that you have a nice full sound, but also very natural. As a result, your viewing experience of your TV is supported by a sound that connects seamlessly. We have a Philips oled TV of 64 "and the soundbar is almost as long. It did not fit in the cabinet where the TV is placed and it really just has to be mounted on the wall, but that is not possible with us because there is a window in front of it: ) We solved it nicely, but maybe we should have checked the length first. That is ultimately an advantage because the sound comes to you in a very pleasant way. The color is so neutral and the design so optimal that it is a enriches the appearance of the TV set.

The product is great... only in the store the color was golden brown... I said to the girl that it must be this one... but a black one was delivered
