What's the exact size of a mouse? This is often difficult to judge from just an image. That's why we've come up with the following rule of thumb:
Choose a mouse that's as close as possible to 60% of the size of your hand. (the dimensions can be found under specifications)
Your hands are often twice as long (from your wrist to the tip of your middle finger) as they're wide (from your little finger to the knuckle of your thumb). In terms of length and width, the closer a mouse is to 60% of your hands, the more likely the mouse will be comfortable for you.
