Not for everyone, but if you are already advanced in making your own pizzas (on stone or steel in your kitchen oven), then this is highly recommended. Watch enough youtube videos and you can't fail. The oven heats up in 20 minutes, which is quite a lot of gas, but that can't be otherwise with a burner of this size.
With a 10 liter gas tank you do about 10 times, if you make 6 pizzas at a time. The oven is nice and wide. I would never go for a 12" again. the wiggle room you have in a 16" is much nicer and ensures that you can look for a somewhat colder or a somewhat warmer part.
the Ooni app is pretty good to use. Of course everyone has their own favorite dough, but the composition that the app gives you also works fine (7/10). furthermore you definitely need a pizza shovel and a rotary shovel is recommended (that works just a little easier than taking the large shovel out of the oven and then turning it over. A brush for the excess flour is an option, but you can also leave it after use cool and pop the stone out and then dust it off.
Only real downside is that you have to set the oven up high (at eye level). Otherwise, after two minutes, you'll find yourself with a crooked back handling your pizza while you're baking. Tip: a sturdy standing table is perfect for placing the oven high.
