Description
With the Philips Lumea IPL 9000 Series BRI955/00, you can remove hair both with and without a cord. Thanks to the app and the built-in skin sensor, you can safely create a smooth skin that'll remain free of hair for up to 18 months. The app guides you and sets up a personal treatment plan where you can see when it's time for a new treatment. The SmartSkin sensor detects your skin tone at the beginning of the treatment and recommends the light intensity. That way, you can be sure you're using the right settings and you're not damaging your skin. The 3 attachments of the Lumea Prestige each have their own shape. Thanks to the different shapes, the attachments smoothly glide along your contours and they always stay in contact with your skin. You can use the small attachment with extra filter for your face, so you can precisely maintain your chin or jawline.
Note: light-based hair removal works based on the contrast between your hair and skin tone. Because of this, most devices don't work on dark skin tones and are unsuitable for removing gray, white, or red hair.
Note: an IPL device is unsuitable if you're pregnant, take certain medications, or have freckles. Before use, read the manual to check if this product is suitable for you.

- Seems easier to use than it actually is
The product work. Let me start with that, but there are a lot of snags that make it not easy to use. For example, you should not use the device on tattoos and moles, nor should you flash over the same surface twice. In practice this is easier said than done. Especially if you want to treat larger surfaces such as your legs. I think that partly because of this not all my hair has been removed because I have used too little flash because sometimes you don't know whether you have treated an area or not. It also takes a lot of time. The device does not flash in quick succession, especially if it is not on the charger you can wait a long time until the next flash comes.

Doesn't really save time. Pretty exciting to use. Wonder if it's completely safe for your eyes (light flashes also with full skin contact). No/little hair removal result after the first few sessions. Device is not completely pain free if you have sensitive skin to heat.
