The product does what it should do, namely connect a large 2nd screen to my MacBook Pro 2022 (which only has USB-C ports). And that works flawlessly. No loss of image quality on the big screen. A small improvement point for CoolBlue. It would have been useful if this product had been recommended when ordering the MacBook Pro, because this adapter cable for a 2nd screen, as well as a sales cable to connect the laptop wired to the Internet, is indispensable, so I had it on Black Friday 2022 order immediately, if this was shown as an (advisory) accessory.

Bought this item to connect a Surface to an AOC screen, also bought via Coolblue. In the past, other adapters have also been used in combination with this screen, but the BlueBuilt adapter takes a relatively long time to transmit the image, and sometimes the image also drops out for a while. Wonder if I shouldn't be better off buying another copy.

Only works with Smartphones and/or Tablets equipped with Alternative Mode Display Port (DP Alt Mode). This is not mentioned on the website! .

According to our cable converter expert
This BlueBuilt product comes with a 5-year warranty.
With this converter, you connect devices which you normally can't connect because they don't have the right connectors.
The converter only works from USB-C to HDMI, not the other way around.
